Headaches and Insomnia....

So it seems the vicious cycle may be starting anew. No sleep at night, trying my hardest not to nap during the day, leading to no productivity, and culminating in one continuous excruciating, inescapable headache. This one was a bit harder to conquer than usual, as I had to frequently keep up with the meds and try to sleep. However, before you become too alarmed, know that despite the fact that I am incapable of sleeping right now, my headache is much better for the time being.
On a happier note, I love my classes, particularly my Soviet Century and Social Contract classes. The Soviet Century class in particular basically blows my mind on a daily basis despite its tendency toward Communist propaganda. It requires tons of work, including 100s of pages of reading weekly, but the reading is so enjoyable I honestly don't even mind. My French teacher this semester is actually a native French speaker which is presenting me with a whole new set of challenges that I know will be beneficial, albeit frustrating, in the long run. I am considering working as an au pair/student over a summer in France sometime to really solidify my grasp on the language in a most economical way.

It's good to be back at school. I really feel like I'm in my element here. I'm really looking forward to my classes this semester, especially my Russian History and Social Contract classes. On a not so pleasant note, when I turned on my computer last night everything was gone. EVERYTHING. No music, no photos, no documents, no wireless internet. Now I have to call Apple and see what's going on. Hopefully I ddn't lose this stuff forever, because for those of you who are familiar with my music collection know that it would be impossible to recover all of that.
