Beginning of a very busy year

I don't have much time, nor will I ever it seems, to really write at length right now, but here is a brief update on my first week or so back at Penn. The latest news is that I was just hired as an administrative assistant at the Penn Law School's Law Review, one of the premiere legal journals in the country. Along with my classes and some other activities I'll get to in a moment, this will be about a 10-15 hour a week job (hopefully more 10s than 15s!). In terms of my classes, it's looking like it's going to be a challenging but interesting year with classes in linguistics, music theory, ancient political thought, macroeconomics, and French. I am actively involved in the Ron Paul campaign and have been meeting regularly with campus leaders to plan events and raise awareness. Funny story: I was at a presentation on the war last night, and someone approached me, asked if I was Michelle Potter of the Ron Paul campaign, and requested to interview me for the DP, something that should be coming up in the next week or so. If it comes to fruition I'll post the article. I am also working extensively with Penn Libertarians and a group called SPEC Concerts. If time permits, I am going to try to fit in some community service by way of implementing debate programs in area schools unable to create them alone. But that is a big IF TIME PERMITS. So long story short, I'm REALLY busy but am still finding time to exercise everyday, and am finding it much easier to eat healthily now that I am making my own food. I am really excited for the school year. There will be times when excitement will turn to despair I'm sure, but it should all work out for the best in the end!
